Marjorie Passerin’s project The Other explores the instability of the contemporary world through the technique of image inversion. The series presents fragmented visual compositions that reflect the loss of reference points in modern life while proposing a shift toward more spiritual and grounded ways of being. Drawing on ideas of post-modern renewal and social palingenesis, the work examines evolving human relationships with self, others, and society. Passerin’s approach positions photography as a tool to question identity formation and the continuous process of collective and individual transformation.
