Hermit Poet’s Comments: How many times have you wanted something and then find out later that it was not that big of a deal to your happiness. I have over the last twenty years or so scaled back the things in my life. Yes, I enjoy books, music, gardening, home-cooked food, etc. I do not need to drive a new pickup truck. I now ride a bicycle and it makes me happy.
