Teenage girls maybe taking pharmaceuticals in the effort to minimize the experience of having their periods.
“…in one study, approximately 70 percent of adolescents between the ages of 15 and 19 indicated that they would prefer to have their periods less frequently than once a month.”
Women do not like to have their periods; it is at the very least a major inconvenience. But are youngsters so lazy and spoiled that they want to avoid even the most natural functions of our bodies?
Yes, there’s a pill for that. Even so, does anyone believe that rerouting a monthly natural bodily function will go unpunished?
What’s next?
A single daily trip to the throne?
Before the Menstrual Pads & Tampon
-Ancient Egyptians version of tampon was made out of papyrus plant.
-In 5 B.C. women in Greece wrapped lint around a piece of wood.
-The Romans used wool, paper, vegetable fibers, sponges, grass and cotton.

-In 1888 the first menstrual pad became available. It was an offshoot of a Benjamin Franklin invention which was a pad created to help stop wounded soldiers from bleeding.

-In 1929 Dr. Earle Haas patented and invented the modern-day tampon (with applicator).

The women of today have a basket full of options to quiet this monster for a few days. The commonly used pill popping strategy should not be considered as relief for the cyclical functions of our bodies. As our vessel grows older, pharmaceuticals become a necessity for better quality life, not for life’s short irritations.

Neutrality comes with the price of being disconnected. Society is composed of like-minded people; teal lovers search for bluish-green connections, and the burnt sienna worshippers choose to navigate a path that’s deep reddish brown. Embracing the color wheel will yield richer exposure and isolation.
There is no glory in neutrality.
