A few have it

Even fewer enjoy watching it

Palatable for the ones you see occasionally

Tolerated for the folks you see all the time

Cannot be taught

Cannot be bought

Cannot be mastered

At the age of 10 you are a hipper child (too much sugar)

At the age of 30 you live in La La Land (dreamer)

But at the age of 50, surrounded by other 50s you are downright irritating

I have been all the above. And wasn’t until an acquaintance dying from cancer, mentioned my enthusiasm in an email a few years back that I began to put the pieces together. I recognized that I can count on one half of my hand the amount of people that know me that really digs my aptitude, but for most my enthusiasm is the common denominator during many occasions when things seem to take an undesirable turn.
