Written by J H Martin @ A Coat for a Monkey
I have only got one
And I never set one
Record
My breath for the dust
My skin for the stone
My disappointments for air
That’s what I want
To do this morning
Four walls
One screen
The same old same old
Walk around
The unemployed industrial estate
To gaze
To forget
The causes and essence
The gains and the cons
Record
I have a problem connecting
The wiring don’t work
My hands turned to mush
This is not a pretty summary
This is not an argued point
The heart beats
The heart stops
Record
