Written by J H Martin @ A Coat for a Monkey
Today
Sees a shift
The land
And the seas
The empire
And the poor
This axis
This variant
This turn of the wheel
It divides
To conquer
To fight with the tide
Get down
To stand up
Mind the self now
The data feeds data
And the scanners don’t lie
Every day and every year
I watch the sun set
And see the sun rise
The great Spirit has spoken
The pyramids are dust
And the mines are empty
